Educators edition of MixCast is less expensive at $199 annually and comes with priority support.

 

In addition, you will need to use a screen recording software such as the free software, OBS https://obsproject.com/.

Hardware - Headsets suitable for use with MasterpieceVR range in price from $200 to just under $1000. Microsofts mixed reality headsets run the entire pricing gamut. The Oculus Rift, comfortable for standing room experiences, is just over $500 and the HTC Vive, considered ideal for room scale experiences, is just under $800.

 

A computer capable of delivering comfortable experiences, creating content in VR and recording and rendering video content will need to be slightly above the minimum specs for VR. Recommended specs from the Steam storefront (n.d.) are:

Additional Notes: Windows 7 does not currently support the DirectX 11.1 features required for MasterpieceVR.
